Het dorp, omringd door de oceaan en ongerepte natuur, heeft zijn naam verdiend als een van de mooiste en rustigste plekken aan de Pacific Rim. Ucluelet, dat &#8216;veilig haven&#8217; betekent in de taal van de inheemse Nuu-chah-nulth-volkeren. Ook dit is een ideale bestemming voor wie op zoek is naar avontuur, rust en een diepere verbinding met de natuur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Natuur en Buitenactiviteiten<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-contrast-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">Ucluelet is beroemd om zijn spectaculaire natuur en de overvloed aan buitenactiviteiten. Het dorp ligt in de nabijheid van het beroemde <strong>Pacific Rim National Park Reserve<\/strong>, een uitgestrekt natuurgebied. Hier kunnen bezoekers genieten van adembenemende wandelingen, zoals de <strong>Wild Pacific Trail<\/strong>. De haven is een centraal punt in het dorp, waar vissersboten uitvaren voor de dagvangst. Het <strong>Ucluelet Aquarium<\/strong> is een klein maar fascinerend aquarium dat zich richt op het zeeleven van de regio. Het biedt een interactieve ervaring waarbij bezoekers kunnen leren over de oceaanecosystemen van de westkust en de inheemse culturen die deze gebieden bewonen.
